Basic T-Shirt Quilt Class

This class takes place: 4/13 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; 4/14, 4/21 & 5/5 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Will make basic T-shirt quilt (If students keep up and work outside of class can end up with a finished quilt.)
Techniques learned:
–Stabilizing T-shirts
–Cutting techniques
–Basic quilt construction skills

What You’ll Need for Class

—1st classwill need to bring a minimum of 12 T-shirts (whole NOT cut) and purchase French Fuse (available at store) for stabilizing T-shirts. Also purchase book named
“T-Shirt Quilts Made Easy” $19.95 less 20% = $15.96
–Cutting tools (cutter, ruler & cutting mat).
–12-1/2” x 12-1/2” or 15” x 15” Square Ruler (available at store), ruler size depends on size of the designs on your T-Shirts.
–Scissors to cut T-shirts apart.
2nd class will need material for Sashing = 1-1/4 yds., cornerstones=1/2 yds.,
–Inner border=1/2 yd., Outer border and binding = 2-1/3 yd. (for Throw size)
–Basic skills = How to operate their own sewing machine.
