Kimberbell Nativity Scene Bench Pillow (IN-STORE or VIRTUAL)

This class takes place In-Store or Virtually via Zoom on July 7th & 14th from 9am to 2pm each day!

Christmas in July with Kimberbell’s Nativity Bench Pillow! The Holy Family is safely ensconced in an applique stable, while fairy lights twinkle in the starry night sky. Shepherds and wise men are coming to greet them, a shimmering Applique Glitter star and mylar angel guiding their way! Create your pillow in 5×7 (or larger) hoops, then slip a 16 x 38” Pillow Insert through the zippered enclosure. With swaying palm trees, Applique Glitter sand, Flexi Foam animals, and “Joy to the World” sentiment, Kimberbell’s Nativity Bench Pillow is a peaceful reminder that all is calm and all is bright. Re-hooping can be facilitated with magnetic hoops; Each of the main blocks double-hoops with a 5×7 hoop.

Attendees will need to have the following:
–Working embroidery machine with at least a 5”x7” hoop; this size requires double hooping each block.
–Design CD
–Embellishment Kit
–Fabric Kit
–You’ll need to have 3-4 extra bobbins on hand, and your favorite notions such as applique scissors.
–An additional bobbin with either Water –Soluble thread or an unusual color (Neon is recommended) is advised for fringe details.
–You must have a basic working knowledge of your machine to take this class.
