The hand-drawn patterns of Songbird are just a sweet nod to the more elaborate designs of Art Nouveau, but it has been fun to try to recreate the feel and look in a light, naiver way, especially in the Cora, Aubrey and Songbird designs. The color palette has a light, dusty pastel feel, which is not typical for the 1900s, but I wanted to tone down the busy patterns and give the collection a soft, watercolor-like effect. This is a collection for those who love light and delicate and is perfect for spring and summer.
This includes eight 16mm (5/8 inch) buttons in Blue & Yellow colors from the Songbird collection by Tilda.
