Beginner English Paper Piece Pillow (IN-STORE)

Ever wanted a small project to work on while you travel or just sit and watch tv or wait for an event? well English Paper Piecing is a great slow stitch project that you can take with you and do anywhere. We will have a small quilt show to get you inspired. Then we will jump right into your project. You will have 4 pillow patterns to pick from. A Winter( Rein Deer), Spring( Blue bonnets) , Summer (Flip Flops), or Fall (Pumpkins). OR You can pick a bigger project like a lap quilt shown in the picture. It’s fun and simple to do. This is not foundation paper piecing. Totally different.

All you need to bring are Scraps bigger than 3×3 inches or a jelly roll if you are doing the Lap quilt. See the pictures for fabric ideas. Lynda will provide the rest: patterns, thread, needles and paper pieces.

What You’ll Need for Class

–A sewing machine in good working order.
–Scrap fabrics 3×3 or larger
–12x 12 background fabric for the Pillow project
–Jelly roll & 3 yards of background fabric for the lap quilt
–Scissors,
–Fabric glue stick
–Rotary cutter
–Small cutting mat
–Seam ripper
