In this beginner class we will teach you how to do two different joining techniques for your quilt blocks. With and with our sashing. This is a two day class where we will begin a 36 x 36 in quilt project that will use both of these joining techniques. You will also get a basic free motion quilting lesson and walking foot quilting lesson. This should be a fun and easy way for you to learn the basics of Quilt As You Go!
–Sewing machine in good working order.
–A yard and a half of a cream or white background fabric
–30 (thirty) 5 inch Autumn colored fabrics
–3 to 4 pumpkin colored fat 1/8
–Thread, bobbins, scissors, straight pins , rotary cutter, small cutting board, quarter inch foot, walking foot, fabric marking pen, 1 inch bias tape maker, and a 12 1/2 in square ruler or a 6 1/2 x 24 inch ruler or both if you have them.

Alternative Project Option
–You can also pick the Fab Five quilt. Purchase the book and ruler and bring the fabric required for the Fab Five quilt. We will put the quilt together using the quilt as you go technique.
