SUMMARY:Beginning Quilting: Daring Spirit Quilt
DESCRIPTION:This class takes place on June 1st\, 8th and 29th. \nThe participants will make the Daring Spirit quilt panel by Villa Rosa Designs. The quilt will be 50” by 68”. We will be learning how to make half square triangles and squaring those blocks. If you want to make this quilt larger\, you can add optional borders. Before class\, read through the directions to get a basic understanding about the quilt. Prior to joining Janome 17 years ago\, he owned a custom sewing business where he made everything from couture wedding gowns to home decor and even taught students of all ages how to sew. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of sewing through teaching. Sam is Janome’s resident notions expert – he probably has enough notions to open his own shop! His love of embroidery began when he couldn’t find lace for his custom wedding gowns\, so he learned how to create his own. Prior to joining Janome 17 years ago\, he owned a custom sewing business where he made everything from couture wedding gowns to home decor and even taught students of all ages how to sew. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of sewing through teaching. Sam is Janome’s resident notions expert – he probably has enough notions to open his own shop! His love of embroidery began when he couldn’t find lace for his custom wedding gowns\, so he learned how to create his own.
