Butterfly Ruler Quilting Class w/Freezer Paper Foundation Piecing (IN-STORE)

This 2-session class takes place October 11th from 10am to 4pm AND October 12th from 10am to 2pm.
In this class you will learn how to use the Butterfly Free Motion Quilting Ruler by Sew Steady/Westalee. On Day one Oct 11th we will use Freezer Paper Foundation Paper Piecing to create the cute Butterfly table runner. On day two Oct 12th we will sandwich the table runner top and learn how to Free motion Quilt using the Butterfly Rule. You can create 2 fun Butterfly designs and flowers to add that fun playful design to your Table runner. We will provide a Baked Potato bar for Lunch on the first day and Snacks the second day.

What You’ll Need for Class
–Your sewing machine in good working order
–Threads that match your fabric choices
–Sewing notions
–Cutting mat
–Rotary cutter
–Add a quarter ruler,
–3 Fat Quarters to create the Butterfly
–2 1/2 inch x 8 inch for the body
–1/2 a yard of background fabric ( this will be enough for the backing as well)
–15 x 30 Inch batting
–Small Iron
–Small Ironing mat
–Sew Steady/Westalee Ruler Foot
