This class takes place on Feb 1st, 8th,15th and 22nd from 3:00pm-5:30pm
Make the Daisies & Diamonds quilt from Double Focus 3 Yard Quilts Book by Donna Robertson & Fran Morgan.
We will be learning how to make half square triangles and snow balled blocks.
Includes 3 sizes, lap, twin and queen/king. Quick and easy strip piecing strategies.
What You’ll Need for Class
Three yards of different fabrics—one yard of light fabric, one yard of dark fabric, and one yard of contrasting fabric.
The pattern calls for cutting your binding 1-1/4” wide, if you prefer your binding to be cut 2-1/2” wide then purchase 1-1/3 yds. of the #3 fabric
—Double Focus 3 Yard Quilts Book
–Three/one yard fabric
–Matching thread,
–Sewing machine in working condition,
–9½ X 9½ or larger squared ruler,
–Quilting pins,
–Rotary mat and cutter,
–Long acrylic ruler for cutting fabric (6.5 X 24)
–Seam ripper
Before class read through the directions to get a basic understanding about the quilt. Write down questions for things you don’t understand.
