Intermediate Quilting: Deco Quilt

This class takes place on October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 from 6pm to 8:30pm.
The participants will make the Deco quilt top from Lo & Behold Stitchery. The quilt will be 56” by 68”. We will be learning intermediate level piecing techniques, squaring blocks and setting blocks on point. If you want to make this quilt smaller or larger, follow the Lo & Behold Deco pattern instructions or contact Shannon for help.

What You’ll Need for Class
–Sewing/quilting machine in working condition
—Deco Quilt Pattern
–Cabin Valley precut kit OR
–Fabric Color 1 – ½ yard
–Fabric Color 2 – 1/3 yard
–Fabric Color 3 – ¾ yard
-Fabric Color 4 – ½ yard
–Fabric Color 5 – ½ yard
–Background Fabric – 3 ¼ yard
–Binding ½ yard
–Thread
–10”x10” or larger square ruler
–Quilting pins and/or binding clips
–Rotary mat and cutter
–Long acrylic ruler for cutting fabric (6” x 24”)
–Seam ripper
Before class, read through the directions to get a basic understanding about the quilt. Write down questions for things you don’t understand.
