Edge to Edge (E2E) Panel Quilting (IN-STORE)

In this class, you will learn to hoop a small lap size quilt to use the edge-to-edge quilting technique. You will buy a Riley Blake More Christmas Wishes Panel & an edge-to-edge design to download onto your machine (separate purchases). You will need either an 8” x 12” or a 6” x 10” hoop. The first part of the morning, we will attach the two borders and put the quilt sandwich together. We will have baked potatoes with condiments for lunch. The second half of the day, we will hoop and edge-to-edge embroider the design of your choice. We will get you started and you will be able to finish at home.

–¼ yard fabric for inside border
–½ yard fabric for the outer border
–Backing fabric and batting 41” x 49” or larger
–Embroidery hoop: 8” x 12” OR 6” x 10”
–A USB stick
–Thread for quilting (60 weight is best in bobbin and top)
–Thread for piecing
–Rotary cutter and cutting mat
–Scissors, seam ripper, and any other standard tools in your kit
