Quilted Witch Hat Class (IN-STORE)

Create your own Witch Hat! We’ll try several techniques: free-motion quilting, easy patchwork, and bias binding. It’s easier than you think! You will practice stitching a curve, creating easy patchwork, free-motion quilting, and simulate crazy quilts with decorative stitches. The finished hat is approximately 16” tall by 20” wide. The interior circle has a 22-23” inch circumference. It fits “most” adults and includes instructions to slightly size the hat for a smaller circumference head. This hat is not intended for children. Stabilizer will be provided for the class!
What You Will Need for Class
–Sewing machine in working condition
–The Spellbound Hat pattern
–3/4 – 1 1/4 Yard Fabric for Witch Hat
–3/4 – 1 1/4 Yard Fabric for Witch Hat Lining
–2 Fat Quarters for Binding
–1 Fat Quarter for Optional Sash
–Thread
–Basic sewing supplies
–Good fabric shears
–Tracing pen/pencil/marker
–Pins or clips
